n8n, when self-hosted, needs your own keys. Gumloop, Relevance AI, Pickaxe and MindStudio include models and let you add your own keys if you prefer. LetBe.ai, AI by Zapier and Lindy include the models with no keys to paste.
When is a workflow tool the better choice?
When the job is moving records between apps on a schedule rather than an agent that talks, decides and answers from your own content. n8n and Zapier are workflow tools first, and they are very good at that. The portal is an agent builder first.
